Tranexamic Acid 1g/10ml – New IV dose format


Bowmed Ibisqus is pleased to announce the launch of a new dose format for Tranexamic Acid IV.

Our new 1g/10ml IV dose will offer healthcare professionals a more convenient administration method in the standard treatment of local or general fibrinolysis.

The current 500mg/5ml presentation will continue to be available via usual supply routes.

The product has been listed with our wholesalers and stock is available for hospital customers with or without an official contract.

Clindamycin Ready to Administer IV Bags


Bowmed Ibisqus has expanded the range of Ready to Administer IV Bags with the recent launch of Clindamycin. This product has been developed in strengths of 300mg/50ml and 600mg/50ml with each pack containing 10 bags.

Clindamycin solution for infusion is an injectable solution that does not require further dilution.

Clindamycin is indicated for the treatment severe infections caused by susceptible microorganisms in adults and adolescents older than 12 years. Treatment areas include staphylococcal bone and joint infections, chronic sinusitis, and infections of the lower respiratory tract.

The product does not contain the preservative benzyl alcohol and can be stored in ambient conditions with each bag packed in a foil over-pouch to protect from light.
The product has been listed with AAH and stock is available for hospital customers with or without an official contract.

Company Statement


COVID-19

The Company is closely monitoring Government advice relating to the novel coronavirus COVID-19 and has implemented measures designed to reduce the risk of infection for our staff including, but not limited to, a stop on all non-essential business travel.

We have a well-established and stress tested Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Plan which covers activity required for managing stock and home working for staff. Any social distancing measures recommended by the Government can be implemented quickly with no loss of service for our customers and patients.

The Company is engaging with Government agencies across the UK to provide information on stock levels and we urge customers to follow advice from DHSC not to stockpile essential medicines which in turn will help us to ensure continuity of supply to patients
